🐾 This Week at Wild Labradors
Hi Lounge fam! It’s been a full and exciting week, new babies on the ground, more mamas preparing, and a lot happening behind the scenes. Here’s the full update:
✨ New Arrivals
Ebony’s litter was born Thursday!
We welcomed 7 puppies:
-
2 black males
-
2 black females
-
2 charcoal females
-
1 charcoal male
All are healthy, nursing well, and gaining weight daily. Ebony is resting and doing a wonderful job as mama.
You’ll soon see this litter added to the Meet the Litters page. For now, they are not reservable for anyone yet, so if you see them on the page, Dont panic!
What happens next:
-
At around 14 days, we’ll begin reaching out to families in reservation order by email.
-
Each family can decide whether to choose from Ebony’s litter or pass.
-
If a family passes, we move to the next in line.
-
This process can take a little time, so thank you for your patience as each family makes their decision.
👉 Make sure you Star Wild Labradors emails on your Inbox so you don’t miss your notification.
⏳ Upcoming Litters
-
Dutton- due this week. Whelping area is prepped and ready. Lets go SILVERS!
-
Markee & Bougie – due the following two weeks. Growing beautifully. Bellies up, appetites up, energy good.
We’ll keep you updated as each mama progresses, it’s going to be a busy and exciting stretch!
🐕 5-Week Litter Update
-
Puppies are transitioning into our doors/outdoor program.
-
Instead of crate training, we focus on building the connection between “door = outside = bathroom.”
-
At home, you’ll continue this by immediately taking your puppy out after meals, naps, and play. Reinforcing that outside is the place to go.
-
Litter box setups are also placed outside for continuity, helping them make the connection quickly.
This foundation makes your job easier once they transition home.
✈️ Travel Options for Families
Welcome to our newest families from Texas and Florida!
We do not ship cargo puppies, their safety and comfort come first. Here are your options:
-
Fly In & Pick Up
-
Closest airports: Boston Logan (BOS) or Providence (PVD).
-
Most families fly into BOS since it has more direct routes, but PVD is smaller and sometimes easier to navigate.
-
You’ll meet us in person, and your puppy travels home in the cabin with you.
-
-
Flight Nanny
-
We work with trusted flight nannies who escort your puppy in-cabin to your nearest airport.
-
Recommended service: DMV Flight Nanny.
-
Cost varies, but typically ranges $600–$800 depending on destination and timing.
-
-
Ground Transport
-
Puppies can also be driven down, but the trip is longer and the price usually ends up close to flight nanny service.
-
For most families, the flight nanny option is faster and less stressful.
-
👉 Important Reminder
When it’s time for your puppy to travel, families are responsible for arranging and confirming their own plans. Please reach out directly to your chosen flight nanny or book your flights when the time comes. We’ll make sure your puppy is ready and waiting but the scheduling and coordination are in your hands.
