Guardian Home Program

You don’t buy this dog. You raise them. And you keep them.

Wild Labradors covers the veterinary care, breeding planning, and long-term responsibility. You provide the couch, the love, and the home.

Most breeding dogs live in kennels.

Ours live on couches. With kids. In real homes. Family dogs first. Breeding dogs second. This is exactly why our Guardian Program exists.

Raise one of our exceptional English Labradors as your own - without the cost.

Guardian families receive one of our top-quality English Labradors as a true family dog.

We handle:

• All veterinary care
• Breeding planning and management
• Health tracking and long-term responsibility

You simply raise an incredible Labrador as part of your family.

Your dog never has puppies at your home.

When it’s time for a litter, she stays with us briefly in our nursery where we handle everything.

Once puppies are weaned, she returns home to you.

You are never responsible for puppies or technical care.

Why we built this program

Dogs deserve more than kennel life.

They deserve couches, yards, kids, and daily love.

This program allows our Labradors to live full family lives while still being part of an intentional, responsible breeding program.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Real questions families ask before becoming a Guardian Family answered clearly and honestly.

How the Guardian Program Works (from day one to retirement)

Do I own the dog?
Yes. Your Labrador lives with you as your family dog. Wild Labradors retains breeding rights for a short period of her life, and after retirement, she is simply your dog forever.

Will my dog have puppies at my house?
No. When it’s time for a litter, she comes to stay with us at our nursery. We handle breeding, whelping, monitoring, and puppy care. Once puppies are weaned, she comes home to you.

How long is she away when she has puppies?
Typically 6–8 weeks from the time she comes to us until puppies are weaned and she returns home.

What happens after she retires from the program?
Around 5 years old, she retires. At that point, there are no more obligations. She remains your dog for life.

Why does this program exist?
Because we believe breeding dogs deserve to live as family dogs, not kennel dogs. This program allows our Labradors to grow up in real homes with real families.

Your Responsibilities, Timeline, and What to Expect Each Month

What do I actually have to do as a guardian family?
Provide a loving home, keep her healthy, and report heat cycles through the portal. We guide you through everything else.

How do I report a heat cycle?
Through a simple form inside the Guardian Portal. It takes less than a minute.

How often will she visit Wild Labradors?
Only when needed for breeding and when it’s time for a litter. Otherwise, she lives at home with you full time.

What if I’m unsure if she’s going into heat or acting differently?
The portal includes guidance on what to look for, and you can contact us directly anytime.

Who covers veterinary care?
Wild Labradors covers all breeding-related veterinary care and wellness expectations as outlined in the program.

Inside the Guardian Portal (tools, updates, and support you receive)

What is the Guardian Portal?
Your private dashboard that tracks your dog’s timeline, health records, education, and communication with us.

What kind of information is inside the portal?
Heat cycle tracking, pregnancy education, timelines, health documents, FAQs, and direct updates from us.

Can my family see the puppies when she’s with you?
Yes. During whelping, guardian families receive live access so you and your kids can watch the puppies in real time.

Will I always know what’s happening?
Yes. The portal keeps you informed so you never feel out of the loop.

Is this program confusing or hard to manage?
No. The entire system is designed so it feels organized, supported, and easy to follow.
