Considering Adopting an Adult English Labrador?

Our Retired Mama Labradors bring something Truly Magical into a home—a nurturing, motherly vibe that’s hard to find.

They’ve spent years caring, loving, and guiding, and now they’re ready to pour all that affection into a forever family.

Yes, they may need a little guidance to adjust to household life, but here’s the payoff: You’ll be getting a dog who’s not just loyal but downright devoted!

These ladies have a way of becoming your shadow, always ready to please, comfort, and bring calm to any room.

If you’re looking for a true companion with a heart as big as her paws, one of our retired Adult English Labradors might be exactly what your home is missing!

How Our Adult Adoption Program Works

We place our retiring moms into loving homes through a trial-based process to ensure the best fit; for both you and the dog.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Apply Online:
Submit your application so we can get to know your lifestyle and preferences.

  2. Start a Trial:
If we believe it’s a good match, we’ll offer a 1-week trial, which can be extended up to 30 days.

  3. Finalize the Adoption:
If it feels right, we’ll transfer ownership, provide vet records, and walk you through next steps.

Spay Policy:
Our Adult English Labradors must be spayed within 6 months of placement (or earlier if your vet recommends). Because these girls are often placed shortly after maternity, we leave the spay timing up to your vet to ensure their safe recovery. You’ll cover the cost, but we’ll guide you through the timing and vet notes.

We do not place based on first-come-first-serve. Our goal is always the right fit for each individual dog.
