How to Reserve & Bring Home Your English Labrador Puppy

At Wild Labradors, I get asked daily how the puppy process works.

From placing your deposit to picking up your new best friend, this is the full breakdown.

Reserve Your Puppy

Begin your journey by placing a $500 non-refundable deposit. This deposit reserves your spot in the pick order for upcoming or current litters.

Once your deposit is submitted:

  • You’ll gain access to the Labrador Lounge (our private customer portal).
  • You’ll be added to our reservation queue by color and gender preferences.
  • You’ll be notified when litters are born and selections begin.

Stay Connected Through the Portal

After puppies are born:

  • You’ll receive an E-Mail with details of Newborn puppies at 2 weeks of age via,  Make your selection.
  • E-Mails are sent out in numerical order as seen on the Reservarion Roster.
  • You will have 48hours to select your puppy. If you decide to “Wait for next litter” you will be notified of every new litter until you select a puppy.
  • You may select any Available Puppy at anytime on the “Litter Lounge”
    This will immediatly reserve you that specific puppy.

While waiting for your puppy to be ready:

  • Log into your personal portal for updates:
    • Weekly photos and videos of your puppy.
    • Notifications about health checks, vaccinations, and more.
    • Access important documents, including terms of sale.
    • Access our Exclusive Blog Content for a walk through on Raising the Perfect Puppy.
  • Pay the remaining balance directly through the portal.
  • Use the portal for any questions or communication with us.

Plan for Pickup Day

When Puppies Are 5 Weeks Old:

  • Begin scheduling your puppy pick-out appointment through the portal.
  • Each family schedules in sequence, so prompt responses ensure smooth planning for all.

Pickup Day:

  • Bring your final payment (submitted 24 hours in advance if not paying in cash).
  • During your 90-minute appointment, you’ll:
    • Meet and choose your puppy in person.
    • Receive guidance on preparing for their transition home.

Take Your Puppy Home

At 8 weeks, your Labrador Retriever is ready to join your family! On pickup day, you’ll receive:

  • AKC Registration and Microchip Registration.
  • A Clean Bill of Health from our veterinarian.
  • A puppy care package, including:
    • A collar and leash.
    • A transitional bag of Iams Large Breed Puppy food.
    • Multivitamin samples.
    • A plush toy for comfort.

Referral Incentive Program

Do you know someone who would love to join our fostering program and provide a loving home to one of our exceptional Labradors? If so, you can help us expand our community while earning a reward for your recommendation!
  1. Refer a Family: Share our fostering program with friends or family who might be interested.
  2. Application and Approval: The referred family must successfully complete our application process, be approved, and officially join our program.
  3. Dog Placement: Once the referred family is paired with one of our breeding Labradors, they’ll begin fostering.
  4. First Litter Milestone: After the first litter is born in their care (minimum of three salable puppies) and those puppies go home to their new families, we’ll send you a one-time $500 compensation as a thank-you for your referral.

Important Details:

  • The referred family must meet all fostering requirements and be a good fit for our program.
  • The compensation will only be issued after the dog successfully produces a litter of at least three salable puppies while under the referred family’s care.
  • Payment is processed once the puppies from that litter go home to their new owners.
  • This is a one-time payment per referred family.

How to Refer a Family:

  1. Direct them to our fostering page and encourage them to fill out our application form.
  2. Ensure they mention your name as the referring family during the application process.
  3. Stay in touch—we’ll update you on their progress through the program!   By participating, you’re not only helping us expand our network of caring foster families, but you’re also contributing to the success and well-being of our Labradors. Thank you for being part of our journey!
