Puppy OVERLOAD.
It’s been another non-stop week here. Between school meetings, barn renovation, and long hours with the pups, we’ve been hustling. Here’s where we’re at:
- Vet Visits: Dr. Brito will be here tomorrow for health exams on Bougie’s and Markey’s litters. Normally she comes Wednesdays, but with her emergency earlier this week she adjusted for us. For families with weekend pickups, I’ll post right away if anything comes up.
- Training Focus: Our 7 to 8 week focus has been on no jump, no bite reinforcement. This foundation is so important, and the pups are responding really well.
- Meet & Greet: We did a full call-out of every puppy in a video, though the camera had other plans and missed most of the faces. Lesson learned.
- Exciting Journeys:
✈️ One pup flew from Boston to Texas.
🐕 Another family is coming back this weekend to pick up a second sibling.
💙 And one pup has been chosen to begin training as a comfort dog, a role that makes us so proud. - Everyday Life: The pups are thriving. They are hefty, healthy, and playful. They have great appetites, great poops, and enough energy to make the barn feel like a theme park.
- Coming Soon: Keep an eye out for new videos, including “Pringle’s Vacuum Attack” a whole crew of tiny velociraptors pouncing a vacuum hose, Jurassic Park style. 🦖🐶
